M.A.S.H. After School Program

THE YMCA CURRENTLY DOES NOT OFFER THE M.A.S.H. PROGRAM. Grand Forks Public Schools now offer ENCORE on-site. Updated information will be posted as needed.

GRADES K – 5

As a part of the Y’s youth development focus, this program is designed to meet the educational and recreational needs of growing kids. We create safe, structured environments under the supervision of adult staff who serve as role models for your child. Children are given activity choices where they can make friends, learn, play and thrive.

SAMPLE DAILY SCHEDULE

Welcome.

Children check in. A quiet place is provided for homework, reading, drawing, coloring or table games.

Children are provided a nutritious snack, according to CACFP guidelines.

Activities incorporate a variety of activities that may include the following:

• Math activities
• Science activities
• Individual and team activities
• Arts and crafts
• Board games
• Large muscle activities

SCHOOL DISMISSAL DAYS

Monthly fees do not include dismissal days. Parents who choose to have their child attend childcare at the YMCA on dismissal days will pay an additional fee, and must complete the required form in advance. Rates include breakfast, lunch, snack, and planned activities.
